Join us for an intimate Whale Watch adventure aboard the all new Reef Explorer.

Whale season on Maui is a magical time, and it begins each December when thousands of Humpback Whales return to give birth in the protected waters of the Hawaiian Islands.

We offer small group whale watch trips inside Maui’s Marine Humpback Sanctuary, with up close and intimate viewing.

Our fast and agile Super Raft stays away from crowds and sits at water level, giving guests a close to the water feeling, while seeing these creatures tail slap, wave fins and show off a full body breach!

Take in the views while our seasoned guides educate guests about whale behavior.

Reef Explorer is equipped with an on board hydrophone to allow passengers to listen below the surface, as whales communicate with each other and their newly born calves.

BOARDING LOCATION

We’re located at the end of Ma’Alaea Harbor Pier. Our boat, Reef Explorer, boards at the South Ferry dock by Harbor Master Station at the end of the pier. The boat is yellow and will be ready for boarding 15 minutes prior to departure.

PARKING LOCATION

Public parking is available close to the boat, or anywhere in Ma’alaea Harbor. Parking is $0.50/hour. You can pay with cash or credit card.
