Tour includes:

• Hotel/condo pickup- be transported in comfort with Maui’s newest fleet of guided tour vehicles with large viewing windows, comfortable seating and climate controlled interior.
• Professionally trained guides- who will provide you with an immersive and authentic Hawaiian and Haleakala National Park tour experience. Learn about the cultural significance of Haleakala National Park and the flora and fauna of this highly protected destination on Maui. Your professional guides will point out the culturally significant points of interest.
• Skyline Haleakala National Park cozy summit jackets-Only available upon request.
• iPad – App use- for your journey from sea-level into Haleakala National Park and on to the 10,023-foot summit, enjoy the use of an iPad and our exclusive Haleakala National Park tours app. The app is available in nine languages and provides you with an opportunity to learn and listen as your professional driver/guide traverses the Maui landscape into the park. You can also download on your own IOS/Android device.
• Photo opportunities– your guide will make stops along the way so there will be plenty of photo opportunities. Don’t forget to hashtag #haleakalatours for all your amazing social posts.
• Breakfast- after your Haleakala sunrise visit, enjoy a stop at the historic Kula Lodge for an amazing valley view and sit-down breakfast lodge experience. Vegetarian, gluten-free and light options available.
• Journey back to your hotel or condo.

Tour details:

Pickup for tours begins between 2:30am and 3:30am, depending on the time of year.

Expect drop-off at your hotel or condo will be between 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm. Please consult your confirmation email for exact times and pickup location within your hotel / condo complex. Confirmation calls will be made 24 hours prior to your tour.

On our early morning journey, the pre-dawn darkness limits general visibility. Your tour includes the use of an iPad that includes our exclusive Haleakala National Park tours app pre-loaded for your enjoyment. The app is available in 9 languages and includes audio and visual information on the history, cultural significance, flora and fauna within Haleakala National Park. We also include a selection of children’s iPad games for their enjoyment.

We then start our approximate 30-mile drive into Haleakala National Park and up to the summit. We arrive at the summit before sunrise where your guide will prep you for the amazing sunrise experience.

Your guide will provide historical information about Haleakala National Park, teach you the traditional Hawaiian chant used to greet the sun, and include tips to stay safe to have a memorable sunrise experience.

After sunrise at the summit, we journey back down the mountain to Historic Kula Lodge to enjoy an Upcountry Maui breakfast. Stops include (not limited to); Haleakala National Park Visitor Center, Haleakala National Park Summit, Kula Lodge for an Upcountry Maui Breakfast.
